I was the Executive Director of Legal Aid of the Bluegrass (LABG) for 30 years. This LSC funded program serves 210,000 low income people who reside in 40 counties in northeast and central Kentucky. I helped broker mergers with two adjacent programs, Northeast Kentucky Legal Services in 1997 and Central Kentucky Legal Services in 2001. During my tenure, our funding sources increased from 3 to 60, and LSC funding went from 80% to 33% of our budget. I retired in August of 2014. I overlapped with my successor, Joshua Crabtree, for four months in a mentoring/coaching role.

In December of 2014, I started a consulting business to share the experience I have acquired with civil legal aid organizations. I can work with your organization in a wide variety of areas.
